About the position

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Compliance, Strategy, and Enterprise Risk Specialist plays a pivotal role in strengthening our organisational processes and driving a proactive approach across compliance and risk management.

This strategic position works collaboratively across all business areas, it is responsible for the development and integration of risk and compliance frameworks, enabling robust business practices and informed decision-making.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise risk, compliance, and quality assurance frameworks aligned with organisational strategy.
  • Partner with leaders to embed risk, compliance, and continuous improvement into business operations.
  • Monitor key risk indicators, compliance obligations, and audit outcomes, providing timely reporting and insights to leadership.
  • Coordinate OHS and risk-related governance activities, including committee support and incident response.
  • Maintain the Business Resilience Plan, including business continuity, emergency response, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Lead the development and review of policies and procedures in collaboration with People & Culture and operational teams.
  • Support organisation-wide initiatives by identifying risks, recommending mitigations, and guiding compliant project delivery.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong analytical mindset with proven capability in problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to build effective, trust-based relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • A solid understanding of compliance, quality and risk management principles.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated understanding of OHS principles, incident management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • High digital literacy, with experience using technology to monitor, analyse, and report on performance.
